Excelsior Capital Partners LLC was founded in 2011 by Brian Bode, with a singular mission: to provide experienced real estate and real asset managers access to the institutional capital they deserve through senior-level advisory and placement services.
Having senior-level responsibilities at a bulge bracket global investment bank and a larger, multi-strategy boutique, he learned firsthand about what works and what does not work for entrepreneurial, yet institutional quality, investment management firms.

For securities placements, Excelsior's managing member is affiliated with Frontier Securities LLC, a FINRA/SIPC registered broker-dealer in good standing. Frontier has more than 50 experienced registered representatives on its platform, enabling additional distribution channels beyond Excelsior's direct relationships.

Brian Bode founded Excelsior Capital Partners in 2011 and brings more than 20 years of experience raising private capital from institutional investors and family offices.
Prior to forming Excelsior, Brian held senior distribution and execution roles for seven years at larger placement agents, including UBS Investment Bank and Atlantic Pacific Capital in New York.
In addition to his time as an external placement agent, he served as an internal capital raiser and lead investor relations professional at Ram Realty Partners and Bell Partners — two fully integrated operators in the retail and multifamily sectors with 30+ year track records.
Earlier in his career, Brian co-managed BellSouth's (now AT&T) pension fund real asset portfolio and invested in alternative asset strategies — including global private equity, distressed debt, and hedge funds — from 1998 to 2002. He has also worked as a management consultant and performed Big 4 financial statement audits for real estate clients and other industries.
